Eurofins MWG Operon Launches QuickProbe™ qPCR Probes in the Americas

Eurofins MWG Operon now offers QuickProbe qPCR probes to life science companies and academic research institutions in the Americas.

Eurofins MWG Operon QuickProbe qPCR probes are purified using company’s proprietary QuickLC™ purification method. They offer the same performance in qPCR assays as traditional hydrolysis probes purified by HPLC, but they can be synthesized and delivered faster than traditional probes.

Probes purified by HPLC are typically shipped in 5 days. QuickProbe qPCR probes, available as 6-FAM–TAMRA probes, are typically shipped in 2 days.

Eurofins MWG Operon has performed extensive testing on our QuickProbe qPCR probes to ensure that they perform as well as, or better than, traditional probes purified by HPLC. We test each QuickProbe qPCR probe, as we do all of our dual-labeled qPCR probes, by mass spectrometry and UV spectrophotometry.

The QuickLC purification process - now available for many custom oligos - also delivers a higher yield than HPLC purification.

Eurofins MWG Operon has established a special introductory price for QuickProbe qPCR probes of $75 for 16 nmol (50 nmol synthesis scale) of 6-FAM–TAMRA QuickProbe qPCR probe.
